Oh, I'm not cute. I'm a short, hairy dark skinned man. Watch my live action vidoes, you'll see.

It is the long way around. This method is only for when all others fail. After one or two tries, you'll find ways to do it faster

What type of program are you taking your character parts into? Generally to export the parts, you'd create a new document in flash and paste your parts, one at a time into it. You'd then do file>export>Image>(either jpeg, gif, etc)As soon as you can, tell me what prgram and I'll get you some specifics.

I'll have to try that sometime soon...

I believe you mean live trace. Live trace has limitations especially in vectorizing complicated images. Also to get parts seperated is a step I think is more difficult in Illustator than in Flash. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned that the method I show here is one to use when either you don't have method that works for you or as a last resort. Don't take it as a simple or easy method, it isn't. |
